Flood cleanout and selective demolition
When the water is out, the wet stuff has to come out too, fast, before it becomes a bigger problem. We remove what the flood ruined, haul it away, and leave your basement open and ready for drying and rebuild.
Scope of work
Every flood cleanout is quoted against a written scope you agree to before we start. This is what that scope covers, and what it never covers.
We start after the water has already receded. Cleanout and selective demolition only.
What we do
- Remove ruined contents and debris
- Remove carpet and pad
- Remove LVP or laminate flooring where quoted
- Remove baseboard and trim
- Cut drywall to the quoted height
- Remove insulation behind opened walls
- Remove ceiling drywall only where specifically quoted
- Load, haul and dispose of all debris
- Leave the space open and ready for drying, remediation and rebuild
What we do not do
- Water extraction or water mitigation
- Structural drying
- Waterproofing
- Mold remediation
- Environmental testing or sanitization certification
- Any mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC or gas work

How a flood cleanout goes
- You call or send a request. We ask a few questions about the space and the water level.
- We walk it, usually the same or next day, and write up the scope: what comes out and how high the drywall gets cut.
- You get one fixed price for that scope.
- Our crew removes, bags, hauls and disposes. You get an open, cleared space ready for the drying and rebuild steps.
Before you call us
- Make sure the water is out and the space is safe to enter. If it isn't, a water mitigation company comes first.
- Call your insurance company and take photos before anything is removed.
- If you suspect mold or need testing, that is a separate specialist. We can work alongside them.
- Rebuild after cleanout, drywall, flooring, trim and paint, is work we do. Ask about it when we quote.
